Hi everyone. I have a gen 2 93 turbo with the lsd trans. Original motor 220k miles and 1st and 5th are gone. A few mechanic friends suggest that a transmission rebuild is a bad idea and buying new is the best option for the long run. I would be looking at $2700 from twosrus for a new one. I could swap a gen 3 w/ lsd transmission from ebay for around $1700. The gen 2 runs fine but i havent done any mods to it besides a full Berk exhaust because of the high miles. I would be happy with 325ish
