A guy I work with has a 1991 MR2 Turbo. About 5 years ago he had the car repainted, had interior redone, had the engine rebuilt and had the turbo rebuilt. He says in the area of $14K for all that. Well one day his girlfriend was washing the car and had it running as she was washing and the engine started smoking. They shut the car off and sprayed the engine with a fire extinguisher.
