Need advice buying a Mr2 [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Hi, i am looking at buying a Mr2. The one i test drove is a NA 1991 and he is asking 6500 canadian with aprox 190 000 km The body is in good condition. But the car sometimes grinds when going into second (apparently fixed with performance trasmittion fluid). And it has a very slow oil leak. Is the car worth it and is the transmission issue solved as simple as it is said to be. Also the Oil pan has been resealed from Toyota and has a 2 year warranty toyota claims it to be an oil pump leak
