what years should I look at (2nd and 3rd gen)? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

models, plan, years, installs, swaps, plans, turbo, modding, upgrade, suspension, components, matter, model, cams, performance, upgrades, understanding, added, year, variants, pickup, things

From my understanding I know that for the 2nd gen 93 models and after for the 2nd gen are the ones to go for because of the performance upgrades. For the 3rd gen the 03 models and up are the ones to go for because they added things like new cams and oil pickup at the end of the 02 year. I plan on getting the NA variants and have no plans on doing any turbo swaps or installs for now. What MR2 years should I look for? If I plan on modding, does it matter if I get a non 93+ model since
