- This is my first post. I have found this forum very informative so far. But I have one question that I have not been able to find the answer for. I currently have a 91 with the 5SFE with 5-speed. I am currently in the process of replacing the engine with another 5SFE from a 91 Celica. My question is: my transmission is starting to grind badly, the Celica also has a 5-speed and I am wondering if i can use that transmission instead of rebuilding my current one. Thanks in advance.
