Hi guys, I am new here, and yes I did a search. Here is my problem. I just bought a 1992 N/A MR2 and the car will not rev past 2000 rpm no matter what throttle input is given. It acts as though it has hit a very slow reacting rev-limiter.... as the engine will climb from idle to 2000 rpm and then fall on its face for about a 1.5 second delay then rev up again, but always cutting at around the 2k rpm mark.
