Being cheated from a mid engine [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I took a real close hard look at my mr2 today and realized something, its hardly mid engine at all, the engine is smack on top of the rear axle, not in front, half the motor is in front half is behind, i take a look at high end mid engine cars and the whole motor is in front of the axle. Why didnt toyota at least tilt the engine towards the front, doesnt it help with the oversteer
