disabled PS fluid really a problem? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I hear so much talk that when you disable the power steering its not like manual racks because you have to push all the fluids around ad everyhting, but it confuses me because with the front end of the car in the air, when i trn the steering wheel theres nearly no resistnace at all, i can spin it and have it go from one lock to the other. Am i missing something?
