old ignition/lock cylinders... [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

heard, worn, things, grease, graphite, years, work, ignition/lock, torn, guys, wrong, locksmiths, board, time, specifically, matter, locks, talking, cars, people, supposed, cylinders, loosen, ignition, sort, past, special, lube/grease/cleaner

OK, I know things get worn out over time, and specifically I am talking about ignition and key locks on these cars (or any car for that matter) I have heard from people in the past that there is a special lube/grease/cleaner of some sort that you are supposed to use to help loosen things up and let them work as well as they can (for being worn and torn from years of use). I want to say its graphite grease, but I may be wrong. are there any locksmiths on the board, or anyone else who has heard
