I just got a call back from the axle shop, I knew it was $50 a side and was expecting a bill of about $100. I have had open diff. axles from my old mr2 rebuilt at this same place before for $100 and $72.50 for new spindles. But this time I gave him perfect LSD axles with no problems, and I am actually getting charged more, $230. He claimed that because I left the final drive or something on the axles, is why it costs more, but I found his price quote to be somewhat ridiculous. Is to rebuild
