Crazy car idle! Help! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

This is on a 1992 5sfe...So I recently pulled the motor and put a new clutch and whatnot in and the car has been running fine (minus leaky axles). Today I get in the car and start driving to work, about 2 miles up the road I notice my idle is jumping up and down between 1k-1750 or so. I quickly pull over into the gas station and turned off my car after going and inspecting the throttle cable to make sure it wasn
