60 mph at 2700 rpm [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

is it normal to be going at 60 mph on 5th gear and the rpm at around 2700? i just want to ask coz i read to some thread that at 60 mph their rpm is at 3000. and the other one i read is at 80 mph their rpm is at 4000. well when i went to the freeway and run at 80 mph my rpm is at 3600? i just want to know if this is normal or is there something wrong with my car. BTW my car has intake and headers its a 91 with 5sfe and more than 200xxx miles and if it helps my wheels are aftermarket and my tires
