Paint Removal Question [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

    Okay, this is abit tricky, First off, I own all the basic tools you need to strip paint, to buff and polish paint and so on. However, I have just bought an MR2 (MK1) that is flat black. It used to be Gold, I dont care if there was no clear coat left, or if it was peeling, I can fix that. But I want to know if I can safely try to take the flat black off without damaging my original paint? For that reason I dont want to use any chemicals. But sanding it down with sand paper mean enough to take
