newb in changing timing belt [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

i would like to change my timing belt and follow what the BGB says. i just want to ask you guys if this is going to be hard or what should i expect on this task? what kind of experiences have you had on doing this. and is it really necessary to take the cam gear off? i mean that is what it sais in the bgb? that got me confused coz i was thinking its just going to be some of the crank pulley and some connections on the alternator belt and stuff. can you guys share your experiences and
