Recently I brought over my 1991 toyota MR2 automatic from California to Idaho. The engine was restored about two years ago and since then it was just sitting there. I took it to the shop and they replaced all the fuel injectors, valves etc. The car drove perfectly fine for the 1,000 mile trip, but the day after I arrived in Idaho the car started turning off when I stop for a red light or a stop sign.
