Hey guys i have a 1993 gen2 JDM motor on my 91 na mr2 and the Knock sensor is bad bc i took it to toyota and they read me the code i got and its a bad knock sensor. To order a new Knock sensor is it the same as a USA 1993 gen 2 motor ? Or do i specifically need to order a 93 gen JDM knock sensor ? BC they are telling me i need to take the old on out first so they can make sure they order me the correct one ?? at toyota.... The only prob is my car = at the mechanic and i dont want them to put
