average oil pressure/boost level [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Just wondering so I know all my new gauges are right. My oil pressure after the car is fully warmed up and idles for about 10-20secs is around 27-30. Also my boost is around -19 at idle and goes up to about 0-1 when I rev it up and will only actually build boost when its under a load. I thought that was normal but I heard some people on here say they can boost to 13 psi when they rev it up. Is my boost gauge in a different stop than theirs or what?
