- i drive a 91 na mr2 and it hates the winter every time i take it through an automated car wash it dies and wont start for at least 10 minutes i check and the intake has no water in it and the distributer is still dry every time. It also has a problem with the throttle sticking when it gets real cold. when you rev it up it will stay at high rpms for a while then slowly fall down. i just wanted to know if this is common and if anyone has these problems and if they had any ideas to help
