I found these in a shoebox in my closet the other day. They I put in my first MKII back in 1999. I upgraded to better speakers in 2000 and forgot about these so they have been sitting idle in my bedroom closet for almost 8 years now. Since the stock sound system uses a tweeter for the highs and has a sub for the lows you need only mid range in the doors for good sound. I can recall loving these speakers compared to the blown factory versions they replaced. I think I bought them new in
