hood, light, wrong, flush, quit, works.right, postion, works, problem, fine, side, raise, heard, thud, lefthand, tonight, lights, question, turned, dropped, headlight, .said, times, switch

turned on my lights tonight....heard a thud...and my lefthand pod has dropped ...tried the switch several times and pod will not raise .said pod is in the down postion...but not quit flush with the hood...and the light works.right side works fine......anyone else have this problem..and what went wrong?
