There were no metal shavings in the oil. That bodes well for my crankshaft and rods, but they might have been trapped in the oil filter since I idled for about an hour after it happened. I had to wait for the tow truck in the cold ass mountains, so I had the heater going. The engine almost seized, so I added 2 quarts of oil, and the starter almost couldn
