Steel Braided Line Leaks [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I have steel braided lines for my Street Brawler and they are leaking thought the steel braids (not at the fittings). My coolant lines have coolant seeping through the steel webbing and my high pressure oil line has oil seeping through the webbing also. Is this normal? Like I mentioned, the fittings are tight and nothing is leaking out of there. The kit/lines have less than 1000 miles on them.
