External Wastegate on a 3s-gte Manifold? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

What would the best way to get a external wastegate onto my setup? I have a stock 3s-gte manifold and a ct-27 w/o a wastegate actuator. I was thinking of boring a hole at the lowest point (between the 3&4 runners) where all the runners meet, then welding a pipe and put the adapter ontop of the pipe? Does this sound good, or would there be a better way to go?
