Switch to Mobil1? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Just got my mr2 out for the season and need to do an oil change. I would like to run Mobil1 full synthetic, but have a few questions. The car has 128k miles and has had standard oil its whole life (I just bought it last year, and never drove it enough to do my own oil change). Will switching to mobil1 hurt anything? I dont think it will, but there are always the people who say it will. What do you guys think?
