Short to ground, need advice! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

my mr2 has been down for awhile now, i know some of the problems the newest i have found however is a short to ground. I have a 3sgte if that makes a diff and its a 91. My problem is a short in a maybe 8ga blue wire that is connected to my pos batt terminal, i found this when i shot from pos to neg terminals on the car of course, and i got some continuity, so i took apart the terminal and isolated the blue wire to be my short. Does anyone know what this wire goes to or has anybody had this
