Just was thinking about when swapping started for the mr2, from what Ive learned about clips is that when a car in Japan hits a certain amount of mileage maybe 40,000 equivalent miles they ask the owner to retire for pollution reasons?? so 40,000 miles usually takes about 4 or 5 years so would that mean that, people started swapping gen 3 motors in 1999 (5 years after the engine was released in japan?) does the price of clips go down substantially over time?
