- ok so my car 1991 mr2 has electric door locks and a hoffman securtiy system . i just installed a turbo timer. now when i i get out of my car . lock the doors and walk away ( still running because of turbo timer ) once the car shuts off it unlocks the doors ... is this something that is toyota or the security system .
