so i got my block and head back from the machine shop 2 months ago and i finally got the time to put the motor together so i felt the need to wash the dust off the newly machined block with degreaser and water. i let the block dry overnight upside down so the deck is facing the ground. well, some grease water from the water jackets ran and dried on the block deck (surface against the head. so i cleaned it off the best i could with degreaser and a scotchbrite pad but i can still see the
