so about 2 months ago i pulled into my local sonic for some grub, i park put car in first and pull up on ebrake, i heard this god awful loud snap and now its like there is zero tension in the cable. i can be driving as fast as i want pull the ebrake and nothing. im thinking a cable broke, i crawled under the car and couldnt find anything brken cept a spring that had come off, i replaced it wherei thoughti t went and still nothing. so as for now im having to jusl eave car in gear. which is
