starter problem or ignition? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

my mk2 has on occasional problem... most of the time it starts and cranks just fine.. but everynow and again i turn the ignition and it just clicks and nothing happens. almost like hte bettery dies.. when it clicks everything turns off, radio lights whatever. im not sure if its the starter or the ignition switch. anyone have similar problems? when it does do the whole click fit it takes a while to finally crank up so its a major PITA and wastes time.. HELP please James
