Replacing stearing rack boots [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Hey gang. my 91 steering rack boots are completly shot. they were like that when i bought the car so i am not sure for how long they were this was. i purchased some new ones but before installing i had a question. are these things to be filled with grease like a CV boot or do i just put them back on? Thanks.
