Fuel pump woes [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

So the fuel pump is out (I think) on my MKII Gen 3 swapped MR2. The EFI fuse was blown in the engine compartment and was replaced and it seems to be dead in the water. What is the best way to test that it is truly dead before going through the hassle of removing the fuel tank yet again. Am I able to say hook up a battery etc. to the fuel pump leads, and if so is that safe? Thanks in advanced for any help! Oh the fuel pump is the usual Walbro 255lph.
