5SFE RPM Question [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

3000, 5sfe, high, 3500, 3900, engines, small, 4300, 5000, remember, directly, normal, approx, guys, cruising, rpms, stock, curious, question, highway, hills

Just curious where do you guys sit when doing 60 on a stock 5sfe? My RPMs sit at 3000 in 5th just cruising down the highway, no hills nothing, seems high to me though I know the 5 and 3s are small high rev engines... In 5th 60 at 3000 65 at 3500 70 at 3900 80 at 4300 100 at 5000 (all are approx aside from 60 which I directly remember)
