big power steering problem [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I have been all over the board trying to fix the p/s on my 91 turbo. I am not getting a light and I have replaced the relay with a ford one and get the same problem. My problem is when I start the car my p/s pump stays on for almost exactly 60 seconds and then shuts off and will not kick back on unless I shut it back off and start it again. Any ideas . And how are you getting p/s codes?
