i just had my 93 N/A mr2 (no mods) looked at by a mechanic a few days ago for a mysterious rattling noise coming from the rear and it sounds like something was loose or a bearing was going bad. (note...the noise would only start when i was coasting or engaged the clutch but not when i was at a stand still idling) so i brought it in and they looked at and said it was coming from inside the transmission and they would have to take it apart to look at it and find out what it is.
