Electrician of the day; Starter issue. [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Ok so here is the problem: The car starts up just fine, then after a coupple minutes, whenever i give it gas you can hear this grinding sound coming from the engine bay. Even if i just barely rev it to lets say 1500 and try to let out the clutch, it makeks the grinding noise and stalls out. I know the problem is within the starting system because the noise is obviously coming from the starter. What i am assuming is happening is that somehwere something is shorting out and causing the drive
