93 oem shift lever + Rse drop plate PROBLEM [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Ok well last week i ordered the JonO/RSe Short Shift Combo Pack from twos r Us for my 91 but i noticed when i was taking off the old shift knob that somebody didnt have it on straight so it pretty much stripped the thread on my lever so since i needed a new one i just got a 93 lever instead ... well today i installed both and all gears work fine but 3rd and 5th slip out and wont stay in gear???:tear: So does anybody know what could be the problem..Is the rse drop plate different for the
