Electrical issue after swap [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

hey, i just swapped in a 5sfe for my blown 5sfe, it is all plugged together and ready to go, but when i put the negative terminal back onto the battery the fuel pump and starter both run, there is no key in the ignition, but it still attempts to start the car. the car doesnt start... my problem is the starter and fuel pump going on there own, i can fix the motor not starting, as it just sint timed yet. i need help asap thanks alot jordan
