Throttle Cable Question. " I have searched and could not find answer" [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

My throttle cable is loose and i went to tighten it. The cable that runs from the junction box to the throttle body. When i was examining the cable the slack just moves through the tubing that runs from the junction box to the throttle. Is this normal? I though there was a way to adjust this but if the cable is just loose how do you do it? This has lead me to believe something is wrong with the cable? Any input would be great at this point as i am confused as all can be and i couldn
