MR2 Squeals LOUD when AC is turned on? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

ok, my MR2 runs fine for now...but i am having AC issues. over the past summer, i noticed that my AC no longer blows cold. another issue is that when i turn the AC on it squeals really loud. the squealing shuts off as soon as i turn off the AC... what do i need to look into to get my AC blowing cold again and to remove the scary squeal issue? the squealing is especially loud when i turn it on while the car is moving.
