EGR VSV Testing - Please help. [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I have two EGR VSV’s. One has a broken outlet the other is used. Both of the solenoids function when a 12V source is applied. Neither of the solenoids are shorted to the case. Measuring the resistance of the solenoids, one is about 1K ohms the other is a little higher. The maintenance manual says the EGR and fuel pressure VSV solenoids’ resistance should be 33 - 39 ohms. I checked the fuel pressure VSV, it measures a little over 50 ohms. According to the book, all of these VSV’s should
