- For some reason my gas gauge needle decided to stop working out of the no where. I turned the car on and the needle stayed below the E. I tried puttin in some gas to see if it would move, but nothing. i filled up the tank, and still nothing. Does anyone know what the problem might be? and the fix for this? Also my temperature gauge knob to control the hot or cold got jammed somehow. It doesnt slide from cold to hot. i tired putting more force to see if it would loosen but nothing, and i dnt
