What all can cause low compression Mister Two, I looked at oil and smelled it, it looked fresh, it didnt smell like gas. But on the inside of the oil filler cap, intake tube and throttle body, there is this greasy yellowish build up and water droplets. Also on the intake manifold side of the motor everything is really grimy on all of the wire covers and everything else under the IM, i need get rid of it but could it mean a cracked head or something? or is that just road junk mixed with a little
