open, lock, trunk, lever, ideas, spined, degrees, advance, opening, drive, worked, trunkback, inside, sister

my trunk(back) lock key has never worked with the key before but the lever inside the car would open. i let my sister drive my car for one day and tried opening the trunk with the key and spined the lock 45 degrees now the trunk will not open at all with the lever any ideas on how to get this open? thanks in advance
