- ok. i hear alot of people talking about getting their car repainted and the responses are saying that they should do the prep work themselves and just take it somewhere (macco or whereever) to get it shot for cheap. sounds like a great idea. can anyone give us a detailed description on what exactly all the prep work consists of and how to PROPERLY do it. just thought it
