- okay i have a 1991 MR-2 with a 5s-fe engine and i had changed the battery. well the hole story is that i had changed it beacuse it was getting old and had lots of corrosion on the terminals and when i had changed the battery i had gotten a smaller CCA battery the CCA that it calls for in the book well in the process i had changed a 50AMP fuse for the ALT. becuase the one i had for the fuse was soldered back together and i had replaced it. so now that i have changed the battery and fuse my car
