Wasnt sure where to post this... I have noticed that there are fewer 88/89 MR2s with rust issues than there are 85/86s. Is there/was there a difference in the metal used in the later MR2s that made them more rust resistent?? I have seen very few rusted out late model MKIs than early ones. Do you think an 88/89 with rust will rust out as quickly as an 85/86 with the same amount of rust? Anyone have any ideas???
