- I ended up with the same problem another member who earlier posted stated: Changed out the trans gear lube and now the axle seal is leaking. Only the passenger side is leaking on mine and I already picked up the seal and am ready to replace it. After searching the forum, from what I understand, the axle just pulls out from the transaxle (differential) with some effort/using a pry bar?
If that is the case, does the the CV joint have to be taken apart so the axle has room to slide out or can
