LSD swap question [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

diff, lsd, mkii, sw20, swap, true, engine, order, false, drop, complications, heard, open, mr2s, question, stock, thinking, changing

I know stock the 91 MR2s come with an open diff so I was thinking about changing the diff to a 1.5 way. I heard from someone that in order to swap out the diff, you have to drop the engine. True or false? Are there any other complications with doing this? Thanks for looking.
