- I was driving the mr2 a few weeks back and stopped a friends house. As i got out i could smell some coolant. Drove it a bit more over heated real quick. i had it towed to the shop and found out the head gasket had blown. Of course this happens a week after I finally fix the small oil leak its had since I bought the car 7 years ago (the oil indicator stick gasket that a lot of people have problems with). So head gasket is blown I lost that happy feeling I had from fixing an old problem.
